Musical “Guys and Dolls” to Run at North High on November 2-4, 2012

Musical “Guys and Dolls” to Run at North High on November 2-4, 2012

Students at North High School in Downers Grove will present the musical “Guys and Dolls” on November 2 through November 4, with evening performances on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and a performance on Sunday at 3 p.m.

The community is welcome to attend. Tickets are $8, $7 for students, and available at the door or by purchasing them in person at the activities department at the school. (The office is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 1 and Friday, November 2.)

Winner of the Tony Award for best musical, “Guys & Dolls” is the story of the hip, wise, and funny characters of a fast-paced, hand-to-mouth, rough and tumble New York City. Tough but honorable gamblers meet their match in the iron-willed and faith-filled Save-A-Soul Mission. The clash is steamy and hilarious. Add to that authentic 1930's Salvation Army uniforms on loan from the Salvation Army Museum and a brand new scenery projection system and this is a show you won't want to miss!
